Anyone Snowkite

Snow Kiting looks like a lot of fun. I received some information on this a few months ago from Flexifoil and have a price list for all kinds of kites and karts if anyone is interested. We, (the famdamily) are heading to VA in April and I would like to stop in and take a training class. That and to have the chance to ride my mountain bike on some new trails is what it takes to get me to travel below Augusta. If anyone knows about this sport give me a shout. Generally a 5 meter kite seems good for 10-18 mph winds. You can use that with a board and scoot along the lake and jump and flip and kill yourself in short order on the snow. Basing that on a person at 220lbs.In the summer you’d have to have a larger kite and from what I’ve been told you’d need more practice too.

Hmmm, you said bike...I could hook up the harnes to the kite and ride my bike across the frozen lake.

I'd wear a helmet. What could go wrong?
